Indulge in a whimsical journey where tea and tales intertwine at our Cryptid High Tea soirée. Amidst enchanting melodies and captivating storytelling, indulge in exquisite, specially crafted teas paired with freshly baked scones, biscuits, and tantalizing homemade jams. Whether you opt for vintage attire or attire that makes you feel truly special, join fellow enthusiasts in an ambiance where the extraordinary meets the refined, celebrating the allure of cryptid in a 110 year old renovated church.
Drogo Coffee and Tea have created 5 different teas inspired by cryptids to be served at high tea. Freshly baked scones, biscuits, and cakes created by Bianca’s Mini Bakery will be offered on tiered trays, accompanying jams and jellies made by the Cryptid Cannery.
More than just high tea, you will have cryptid storytelling with Tally Johnson (from our Twelfth Night event!) and melodeclamations and musical ambience created by Valentine Wolfe.
Cryptid High Tea offers two event times to best fit within your schedule. Doors open 30 minutes before event time to allow for seating and settling in.
Every ticket receives:
– An enamel pin unique to the Cryptid High Tea
– 5 specially crafted teas (including a simple black tea in case of allergies)
– Lemonade and/or water for non-tea drinkers
– Scones, biscuits, and cakes that include vegan and gluten free
– An invitation will be mailed to the purchaser with a QR code for entry. Invitations will begin mailing out mid-May. Master list of names will be at the door in case the postcard is lost or forgotten.
